For sale, an Alfa Data Tandem IDE+CD Controller for big-box Amigas. Working pull from my Amiga 4000D. Comes with original packaging, 2 floppies and manuals. Not 100% sure does this allow standard ide alongside the not-so standard ide from the early days?
*I will have a nose on the bboah and amiga hardware database.

It allows having a Mitsumi proprietary CDROM drive on one port, a non-bootable IDE drive on it's other port. I guess to be safe we are talking about Zipdrives, harddrives, cdromdrives from the era.

DVD drives and CF adapters maybe, but your milage may vary since even newer IDE cards like the Buddha had problems with that before it's last firmware update.

Thanks for clarifying! I used it in my A4000D to connect a Mitsumi (ATAPI, very confusing!) CD-ROM drive to its IDE port, while using the IDE on the mainboard for a HDD. As it’s non-autoboot, it will be most useful to connect removable media (cd, zip, ...)
