I was going buy new mini pc but then I caught small print of saying 30 days....if somethings go wrong after 30 days then You cant get your moneys back.

That is wrong because every pc should have 1 year guarantee if somethings go wrong.

Does Amazon have 1 year guarantee for whatever electric items you buying?

@Amiga Forever
Amazon have a 30 days returns policy, but if you buy something new it should have full warranty.

I have bought electronics from Amazon and had no problems after 30 days. I bought a 5TB Hard drive and it died after 6 months. Amazon offered me a replacement or full refund.

It seems a bit odd it doesn't have 12 months warranty, unless of course it's a refurb.

Is the item being supplied by Amazon or another seller?

The 30 days is just Amazon's return policy. You will have 30 days to send it back if say you change your mind, after that you will not be able to return unless faulty etc. You will still be covered under warranty. (y)

Be wary of sellers on Amazon with low feedback. Also check out the delivery times/dates - you can soon see what is actually in the UK or has to be shipped from places like China.

Also as google is both yours and my friend, finding out company information and any registered trademarks they hold is a cinch. This will ultimately lead you to the parent company and their location.

Click on the ASTERNERY S.L link on the above website - Look how many trademarks were registered in Feb 2023 alone.

Now either that company is being very prolific or there are some cheeky shenanigans going on here.

My recommendation here is caution or to put it more bluntly.....

Droix is good. My mini pc (CK1) came from them and have had no problem with either the build quality or support.

Amazon have 30 days no quibble returns so long as the item is in perfect condition as you received it. Also 30 days to tell them of any issues for a return if you've found it faulty.

Beyond 30 days you can't return it but they will guide you if you contact them and depending on the item they may help with the warranty if it was officially sold by them, not just a seller through them.

Also worth noting they often do seller supported refurbished items that have 12 month return windows. I've had a few of these (phones mostly) and been able to return it no questions asked after a few months.

What he said ⬆️

Don't forget that the 30 day no-quibble return to Amazon is in ADDITION to your UK statutory consumer rights.

Meaning you can return it to Amazon within 30 days and get a full refund. After that period of time has elapsed, any issues with things not working belong to the manufacturer to sort out and repair if needed, in this case Droix.

Also be aware that it makes the case for a "reasonable amount of time" for you to use the product and expect it to last for. This usually happens after your warranty has expired but it is not set in stone. A company can quite happily deny this goodwill gesture as it has no real basis in consumer law.

EG. A washing machine should last you a minimum of 5 years (a reasonable amount of time). Or a stove, a minimum of say, 7-10 years. The minimum life-span is not fixed but mostly applied using common sense and general reasoning. You could theoretically make a claim of reasonable use on a dryer that has lasted you 10+years before it went bang.

Always remember, at the other end of the phone is a human (well until Chat AI's becomes sentient) so any amount of screaming and shouting will usually end up with them denying your claim. Be nice, play nice and it is remarkable what extra help and service you could end up with from the company.
