Amiga 1000 (base unit, keyboard mouse) refurbished #1

I've been accumulating Amiga 1000s over the last 4 years. They all had issues and missing parts which I've fixed or replaced over time. I've kept one for myself (now with a GB A1000 motherboard) but now it's time to pass the others along to someone else.

Amiga 1000 S/N: XM5001536N

This particular model was in quite a sorry state when I got it. I retrobrighted the case but it was too far gone, so I've sprayed it with Kolorbond (similar to vinyl dye - not paint) which has been colour-matched to the Amiga 1000. The keyboard has been repaired - a replacement NE556 timer, capacitors and a couple of keyswitches. All the keys have been cleaned, all keys work and there are no broken or glued keycaps. One of the 8255 CIAs on the motherboard has been replaced. It has the additional 256k RAM module in the front slot to total 512k RAM onboard. It is a PAL 240v model.

Bad points : There is what looks like heat damage to the plastic on the right-hand side of the case, almost like the plastic has melted. It's difficult to notice until you know it's there, but see the pictures for yourself below. One of the tabs snapped off the front memory slot cover and has been fixed back using Bondic. The keyboard cable isn't an original Amiga 1000 cable and a tab has broken off one of the connectors. The tank mouse isn't the "correct" Amiga 1000 mouse with the right-angled plug.

I've included a video of the system booting up (sorry about the poor quality from my laptop camera).

Asking price is £230 plus PayPal fees and postage.

What's included: Amiga 1000 base unit with additional 256k RAM module, keyboard, keyboard cable, mouse. No Kickstart or Workbench disks as I don't have originals only copies, so I can't sell them with the machine.

Not declaring intersest but is it NTSC mainboard with daughterboard inside?

It's a PAL motherboard. I have four Amiga 1000s here, all PAL - three have the daughterboard and one doesn't. I think all NTSC boards have the daughterboard, whereas some PAL boards do and others don't. I might be wrong though.

Deal agreed with NoPyroNoParty, payment received. Will package for shipping ASAP.
