Sold Amiga 1000 - Fully Working - Original Box

Hi,

For sale:

• Amiga 1000 (UK PAL) in original box and in full working order
• Fitted with 256k front memory expansion to give 512k total memory
  
• Keyboard
• Power cable
• Logic 3 Speedmouse (ball mouse compatible with Amiga and Atari ST)
• 2 x Kickstart 1.3 floppy disks (copies not originals)
• 1 x Workbench 1.3 floppy disk (copy not original; customised startup-sequence and utilities)

Condition:

• Main unit in good condition with not too much yellowing - but needs a clean (see pictures)
• Keyboard more yellowed, particularly on front edge - but otherwise good condition (see picture)
• Box has original delivery tape/stickers/markings (plus a little bit of doodling!) and is yellowing with age - but intact including internal polystyrene casing (see pictures)
• Amiga is fully operational - pictures show system at kickstart disk page, workbench disk page and with workbench loaded; all lights working
• Mouse is barely usable - it probably just needs the rollers cleaning (original Commodore mice are widely available as an alternative)
• No cover for side expansion slot (never had one)
• Keyboard cable clips are snapped both ends - there is blu-tac in the bottom of the cable sockets that holds the cable firmly in place (this was done before I bought it 22+ years ago and has always worked fine, but the blu-tac could easily be scraped out and the cable replaced if preferred)

Exclusions:

• No TV/Monitor (TV shown in pictures is just to demonstrate that the system is in working order)
• No TV/Monitor cable (system was tested using an RGB-SCART cable)

Price:

• £180 including PayPal fees and Shipping
• Payment by PayPal only
• Delivery to UK and EU via fully insured and tracked courier
• Original box will be securely packaged within a larger cardboard box filled with polystyrene peanuts (see picture)

FYI Dougy, It's generally cheaper to get a Parcelforce quote through a third party like Parcelmonkey rather than directly from Parcelforce. And they still insure anything that's not CRT or an iMac etc.

Good grief, that's an eye opener!!

Thanks for the advice Sputnik. Parcel Monkey it is and P&P costs reduced accordingly. I've also sucked up the packaging costs.
