For sale is a non-working "FutureVision 4 MB RAM" expansion for an Amiga 1000 (https://bigbookofamigahardware.com/bboah/product.aspx?id=1006)
Populated are only 1 MB (32x 41256).
I bought the card in November 2024 and unfortunately, I was only recently able to take a closer look at it: The Amiga boots to a turquoise screen (RAM error).
Using the Backbit Chip Tester Pro, I was able to identify a faulty RAM chip, which has since been replaced — unfortunately, the issue still persists. In addition, 17 out of the 19 ICs were also successfully tested with the Backbit Chip Tester and found to be fault-free. However, the MC146818P and the 74F74N could not be tested with the device. I also restored one or two damaged traces, the board was thoroughly cleaned to make it easier to identify faulty solder joints.
Worst case would be salvaging the chips, since they are all socketed!
Price: EUR 95,-
Shipping EU: EUR 15,-
Payment: IBAN or PayPal (F&F)
P.S.: I also add the original fotos I got from the seller. The card was completely covered with old flux.
