Finally got round to fitting my Amiga 1200 CF IDE Back Plate Adapter from AmigaKit, pretty good device really and very easy to fit. It did mean I had to remove my Blizzard 1230 SCSI Kit for now but to be honest I was not really using it that much anyway and I'd rather be able to easily switch between different OS's without having to remove the top case all the time. What I like about this solution is that you don't have to butcher your beloved 1200 like you do with other external CF adaptors.

The Amiga 1200 CF IDE Back Plate Adapter is a great bit of kit, just one small criticism is that you cant really screw it in place properly you have to rely on a double sided sticky pad to hold it in place. Maybe my screw was too long not sure. Anyway here are some pics.

I am using it myself and I find it very convenient.
The included double sided adhesive tapes were not strong enough. First time I plugged in a cf card the adapter left its place! So I opened the case once more and changed the tape with another one, much stronger, and now the adapter stays in place as if it was screwed!

Highly recommended product.
