Further to my earlier thread, just wanted to check with people.

For those using a modified Amiga 1200, that is for example an A1200 with Raspberry Pi or Minimig (or similar) in the case.

How do you properly support the keyboard?

I know it will work without support but for all Commodore's faults the keyboard was supposed to originally be supported by the metal hard disk caddy.

Without this caddy how do you support the keyboard?

Simple answer on my Modded A1200’s. I don’t use anything else. Unfortunately with the tight confinement of the case and with stuff crammed in over the mainboard, I don’t see any other way.

Yeah i regret not having anymore the harddrive cradle to support the keyboard but there is no other way with upgrades.
Not a big problem for the A1200, but more for the A600.

IMHO there's no real point to keeping the HD caddy as it just takes up valuable space for something like an Indivision AGA board. To be honest, the keyboard's steel backplate already provides adequate support by itself.
