Hello all,

WTB an Amiga 1200 keyboard, don't care about the country layout, needs to be working. Thank you.

I am building a ReAmiga 1200 and I am looking for a new keyboard (US layout). Have you seen anyone selling something like that?

No I haven’t and I got lucky, you could always buy a different country layout and swap the keys to match US layout.

If I find a different country's keyboard do I need only to swap the keys or the membane as well?
What it is written on the key does not matter but what the membrane generates is important
I think I will need to change the membrane as well
The problem I can not even find any keyboard

As far as I know just the keys. I had a UK keyboard on my first A1200 and swapped them out with the new A1200.net black keycaps with no issues. As long as they are the plunger style it should only be a key swap. And you'll only need to swap a few keycaps at that, the differences between countries are only about 7 or 8 keys if I remember correctly.

I saw this one on sale in these forums https://www.amibay.com/threads/amiga-1200-keyboard-german-layout-100-ok.2442581/

Could try with that. Good luck!

Actually I just found one. It is a UK version so no issues there.
Now I can complete my ReAmiga
I still have one more issue to resolve
I got an indivison aga mk3 but the plcc socket was crap (I was not getting all colors) so I tried to remove it so I can put a better quality
It seems it is next to impossible to remove the plcc
Anyway I will figure out something
