Closed Amiga 1200 ram expansion 4mb

Hi all,
I bought an A1200 without HD, ver 3.1 rom. I am not sure but it's memory is 2mb I think.
I am going to buy a 4gb pcmcia card and as I searched, only 4mb ram works with it.
So I need a 4mb ram expansion, not more than that, installing from one of the trap doors, not an internally one. Because I do not want to open the console.

My friend Sir_Beaker is selling an 8mb board here, you can set it to 4mb with a jumper if you require PCMCIA compatibility or even fit a toggle switch so you can swap between 4/8mb:

Hi ulkealan,

You will need to edit the link out of your post as links to eBay auctions are not permitted on Amibay.

That card however would be fine and in fact would give your A1200 a boost in speed however don't be surprised if the price goes high as most boards by phase 5 (blizzards) are very sought after.

Indeed if you can find a basic 4mb board it might be cheaper, good luck with your search
