As part of my restauration efforts on my A2000, I am looking for an original cover plate for the 5.25" slot.
I have tried 3D printing one on my Bambu with different colors, but a close match in color is impossible, even if the filament is supposed to be the correct color.

Some yellowing is fine (I will retrobrite it) but it must be an original plate and not broken or scratched too severely.

Of course I have checked the forum posts and ebay for one but no luck so far.
A complete case or front with plates could also be fine, if the price is reasonable.

I restore for my own collection and not for the purpose of reselling/making a buck.

Must be shippable to Denmark :)

I could offer a 5,25 sled/insertion to put a 3rd floppy or Gotek in, if only to fill the hole.
I would prefer to keep it visually as close to original as possible, so I will keep looking - thanks though :).
I have built in a GoTek in an external enclosure and then a FireFloppy swap mod so I can switch the drives easily

Why not putting a CD-Drive in ? Some have the colour you need and there are still drives available that are as old as the A2000 to be completely retro. Good luck anyway (y)

I could Sell you mine as I want to install a 51/4 Drive next week. However, I would charge <Snip> for it as it will take me Some Time to find a replacement original. PM in case this is ok for you.

Thanks for the offer - I am currently bidding on an empty case for about that price, so I appreciate it, but I am keeping fingers crossed I get it :)
