I like this case, I may be able to buy one in a couple months like in May or June unless that is too soon, 2 fdd's and a cd/dvd drive, a standard cd/dvd drive would be better, I'd rather have the cd/dvd drive than not have it, the extensions and the tick board are ok, the paula stuff up front is a no no, deep six that please, beige or silver or black is ok, I have a silver ps/2 HP keyboard. With a standard drive bay for a cd/dvd drive I could install a IDE cd/dvd drive, even if the faceplates are black or beige, my Creative drive is ide CD-4833E(I bought it as working) or an ide Teac CD-524EA(corrosion behind faceplate seen & yellowed, unknown as to working), I do have some cd/dvd ide drives in black, I know they are cd, but I'd have to see if any are cd/dvd for sure as they're in a cardboard box that I use to store them in.
I am sorry but big NO to 5.25 cutout. Colour RAL9005 ripple (possibly RAL7044 ripple), I do not want to deal anymore with smooth finish.
It will look like on attached render (possibly windowed top at extra cost).

What about the 4000D case?
It seems like a good candidate to be used a case that could house a 3000D motherboard and risers or a 4000D motherboard and risers.
I don't care what the color is, I have a green colored car just to get what I wanted, so color to me is not as important, I'm not picky or fussy on color.

I'm even looking at suitable PC cases, like the HP Vectra VL5 case. That with some mods might work as it has 4 slots just like on a 3000D or a 4000D and it has 2-3.5" and 1-5.25" drivebay, the psu is weird of course.

Both cases are same size. A3000D motherboard is a way bigger, also CPU card is just underneath 3.5 drives. Adding 5.25 drive is sort of possible but will reduce are for CPU card. I don't have resources to check if it fit correctly with all sorts of CPU cards. I am sorry but I'm not going to that.

Ok I understand all that, and yes I know the 3000D is bigger than a 4000D, I've owned both.

The psu is on the right, 2 isa card slots are on the extreme left when looking at the first pic, this case seems to be a possible candidate.

The HP Vectra VL5 case dimensions are 464 mm (W) by 178 mm (D), the retro web says the motherboard is: 254mm x 218mm in size, the 178mm sounds fishy or suspect.
Amiga 3000D Width 370mm/14.5" x Depth 395mm/15.5" This is only the top part of the case I've read, I have not had a 3000D in my hands in a long time.

I'll have to buy one to get real measurements just to verify, searches aren't doing that good.

An in depth search on bing.com got me this:

The HP Vectra VL5 has the following dimensions: Width: 420 mm (16.5”), Height: 125 mm (4.9”), Depth: 390 mm (15.3”)
The manual matches the bottom figure. HP Vectra VL5 Desktop Manual
I looked at other PC's and found most had 3 slots(like: Packard Bell) or just went the wrong way.
The back of the HP case like with some IBM's has a plastic cover to hide the metal parts.

I am looking for a case for the AA3000+ project. So do you still produce it. Many thanks for your reply.
