My first post to sell so sorry if I've missed anything.
Commodore Amiga 4000 in utterly exceptional condition for it's age.
Firstly, this is likely one of the nicest, most loved A4000's to list and i''m absolutely asking a premium for it.
All parts are original's, not remakes etc. The only thing not period correct is the SSD, I have an IDE hard disk that I can ship with it, but obviously these are simply too old to realistically continue to use.
OK, So the main spec
Amiga 4000 Desktop - Fitted with 16MB of Fast Memory
Cyberstorm Mk-II Accelerator fitted with 50Mhz 68060 Processor (has both MMU & FPU) with 128MB RAM
Picasso II+ RTG Graphics Board
Prelude Soundcard (not a remanufactured unit)
Scan Magic Internal scan doubler & flicker fixer (so you can use interlace etc on any standard monitor)
Ariadne II Network card
Fitted with 3.2 ROMs (original ROMs will also be supplied)
Slot loading DVD drive (reads DVDs but obviously can't play video)
Original perfect working order high density 1.77MB Floppy Drive (configured as DF1)
Gotek USB Floppy drive (configured as DF0)
Keyboard & Mouse included
This Amiga has also been fully recapped, and I mean fully! The mainboard was fully recapped with polymer capacitors, in addition the power supply was also recapped and even the Picasso RTG card had the caps replaced. (invoice for work available)
The battery was removed from the unit long before I owned it and the board shows a very minimal amount of any leakage.
In addition
Amiga Tank Mouse recreation with adaptor (my original mouse will also be included)
Stereomaster sound sampler
Period correct Altek Lancing speakers
Licensed version of Amiga OS 3.2
There is an included PCMCIA card with data on it, I don't use it anymore but it is fitted (as pictures) and could be reconnected if you wanted to use it instead of the SSD
I would very much prefer collection as it's expensive & could be easily damaged. I am happy to travel 200 miles around the south of England to facilitate a handover. If someone collects I will throw in the monitor I use, even without the scan doubler it displays all Amiga modes. If the buyer wishes to arrange a courier with me then that's fine, but it is YOUR responsibility. I can drop off to any local depot as required.
OK, Now the bad bits.... Nothing really! The small loom from the sound card has a slight break in the wire, could be fixed but once it's in the right position I always forget about it.
