I'm selling the spares that I've had the intention of building up into a full 4000, but never got around to. You will need other bits to make a 4000!
Case:
Selling the metal top and bottom from an Amiga 4000. Includes drive mounting plates, bar, mount for cards. See pics for clarification!
Bezel:
Complete with blanking plates for 5.25" bay and smaller 3.5" bay plate. Lock, LEDs included. No sticker.
Motherboard: A4000 Rev B, buster 11.
The motherboard was working, apart from the mouse which was jumpy, the clock which was not recognised and weak audio. I removed the SIMM sockets to check for corrosion, removed the clock IC (U891) and removed a couple of latches (U177, U976) along with the battery, resistor pack (RP176), C200 and C192. I also removed caps in the audio circuit.
So it needs someone to repair it, and also to check traces on the RAM, etc...
I'm after £100 for the lot, plus postage at cost. Payment via transfer, or paypal gift, or you cover the paypal fees.
I can include 4 SIMM sockets ready to fit if you want them for an extra £10.
