Sorry for my poor english but I have some strange problems and I not able to find a solution...
I have A4000/040 recapped, with a2065, A4091 (40.13), Merlin (all fix), cpu board 3.1, buster 11, AT psu, kick 3.1.
1- Very random (and rarely) I have a 80000008 or 8000000B error. Some day never appear, other days appear... never with vanilla workbench 3.1. If I try to use probench3 I have always this error. Is only software/merlin error related?
2- My scsi chain is correct (boot active terminator), I not have ide devices, if I power-on the A4000 it loading the workbench without a problem, if I reset... no problem, if I enter to boot menu or load kickstart replacement (wb3.9) it no boot and go to kickstart screen. I need to reset for loading the workbench. Why? For this issue the function "boot without startup-sequence" or boot device selection is unusable.
3- I have 3 monitors (1960, LG M1921A, Nec 51VM) with the first two I not have a problem, if I connect the Nec monitor the A4000 don't boot, green led blink and enter in reset loop... If I disconnect the monitor, turn on the Amiga and reconnect the monitor it work perfect! The issue is present also the monitor i turned off...
I have investigate, the only way to boot-up the Amiga is remove the Hsync wire. I have tested the pin 13 of the LG and have a resistance of 4,7kohm same pin of Nec have a resistance of 2,2kohm... another vga monitor in my house have 2,2kohm. Why my Amiga don't boot with low resistance monitor? Only I have this problem? I not have Commodore adaptor, but db23>hd15 cable (for merlin bridge) with rgb, vsync, hsync and sync GND pin connected.
