Sold Amiga 4000D / 040

Continuing to thin out my collection. I just don't have time to spend working on & playing with my girls, so it's time to let some of them back into the wild. I hope someone with more time can give them a good home!

First up:

Amiga 4000D / 040 desktop only
16MB RAM
8GB HD
3.0 ROM

This one has been sitting a while, but it booted right up without any problems. Battery was removed long ago, see pictures for details. The case is in reasonable condition, minimal yellowing on the face panel. Dark black mark on front left side, not sure what it is and I couldn't remove it (see pictures) RAM slot clips all appear to be intact. Missing all the expansion slot covers. This is for the computer only -- no keyboard, no mouse, no monitor, no cables, no disks, etc. Hard drive will be wiped before shipping.

Asking $650US plus shipping & PayPal fees.

I'm going to add to the description: shipping only within the USA or Canada for now. I'm not comfortable with shipping an old, heavy computer overseas. Sorry about that DannyK22.

Just to add I had an SX-64 shipped from USA to UK no issues (apart from stuck in customs for a few weeks) but it arrived all well and good. (Was very well packed)

if you're worried about damage in transit, box in a box + insurance, or give the option to the buyer to pay as gift and take the risk it arrives not in the same shape it was sent as long as it was adequately packaged

DannyK22 i think, you can use reshipping company . Saller ship to USA domestic address and company reshipping it to you. I use this if i buy via ebay and there is only domestic shipping.

True, but I would still be stressed. Every package I've received from overseas looks like it was used in a game of football, although thankfully I've never received anything damaged... But I've never bought anything this large or fragile.
