In summary: Asking $3,800 USD + Shipping + PayPal fees for my fully working A4000T with CS MK 2 (128 MB 60 ns RAM), Thylacine-mini 4-port USB board (bought on this website), keyboard, mouse, OS 3.2.1 installed (with retail CD – license number on inside cover). Key to lock out the user are included. The CS MK 2 has its original Rev 1 68060 with its original clock chip (paper tape became torn over the years)
-- there is no SCSI module.
Changes made: It has been recapped by Amiga of Rochester within the past 18 months. While there is a coin cell holder for use with a rechargeable 2032, the A4000T has a battery connection for a standard AT-style 4.5V battery (used for several years) currently connected to a battery pack of AA batteries. The AT power supply has been swapped for a 300W one when the computer had a larger need for power – if the computer doesn’t sell, I was going to replace the PSU’s noisy fan. The SCSI terminator has been moved to give access to the two (2) 9-pin ports and the two (2) 25-pin ports in the rear. The middle spar of the drive cage was removed to allow placement of a CyberVision video card. Large drives can still be secured here as the side rail holes are unaffected.
Original DD floppy replaced with an HD 357A Chinon, Gotek, and DVD/CD drive (the Amiga can read DVDs but no software is installed for writing them).
The original case fan was replaced with a Noctua last year; it currently uses a new thick filter, but the original, thinner version is included. The back plane plates have slits to allow better air flow.
Storage: It comes with a Micron 120 GB SATA SSD on the IDE bus (3+ MB/s) and a ZuluSCSI 32 GB card on the SCSI bus (6 – 7 MB/s).
Software: None -- both drives have been wiped per davideo (vide infra), comes with OS3.2 CD and original A4000T 3.1 Install disks.
Downside: This Amiga was bought around 2012 from a user who banged up the corners and painted over the scratches with an enamel beige paint; note the difference in color from the original gray/white color in photo.
Shipping: Will be through Shippo (goshippo.com) and discounted, however, the A4000T ships in its own box 24 x 24 x 9 in (18 Kg / 40 Lbs) with the keyboard, mouse, power cord, and bits in a box 21 x 10 x 5 in (3 Kg / 6 Lbs 12 Oz).
My location is in the US, but I would not exclude international shipping for a $10 USD paperwork fee.
