hello,
I apologize in advance for my English
This thread wants to collect opinions about the best Amiga 500 hardware configuration, with particular attention to system's stability
So considering the amiga 500 contest and advantages/disadvantages of each component suggested :
-Rev. Board:
-Chip: (68000 & Up)
-Chip Ram expansion: (onboard or not) &/or Fast Ram expansion &/or Slow Fast Ram expansion
-Kickstart Switch:
-Accelerator:
-PSu: (possible AT/ATP internal replaced, productor&model)
-Monitor: (ex: 1084s D1/2-P1/2 wath's the preference)
-MISC: Hard Disk, Floppy simulator, Scandoubler/FlickFixer etc
Discussion about this may be important to identify little tricks to solve big problems, good or problematic device also considering considering the interaction between different devices
Thanks to reply!

My opinion:
-Rev. Board: 8a, i'm considering to add 512k ChipRam directly on board
-Chip: 68000, seems to be better overclock 68000 at 14 MhZ instead of put a non functional 68010 etc, so that whan i've time a go to work on this.
-Chip Ram expansion: A580 whith gary adapter (2mb)
-Kickstart Switch: noone. frequently i play game so.. i think to put a 2.04 or 3.1 Kick switcher don't give me so much advantage that instability
-Accelerator: i think at supra turbo 28, pheraps better than inboard devices so i'm trying to buy
-PSu: frequently guru messages & other problems are PSu insufficent or not stable power related. We read on the backside of the power "300w" but this not mean that we really have 300 watt effective and stables. So as soon as possible i surely replace Cable and internal parts of my PSu with a new AT or ATP PSu.
-Monitor: Commodore 1084s D1 White badge, toshiba monitor
-MISC: HxT Floppy emulator mounted & ready to work. i don't know really if buy even a scandoubler, i would read much more about it
