Hi all,
I recently received a boxed Amiga 500. The box is tatty, includes the PSU, a box of disks including some unboxed games (not copies), workbench disks, Deluxe Paint and some PD. Its missing peripherals and video cables. The case is a bit yellowed, but feels solid enough. All the warranty seals are still in place
I initially thought it was broken, then I had a look in the trapdoor and found the 512KB ram pack's clock battery has expired. After removing it I got a fine picture via SCART. Workbench 1.3 main disk seems to be busted, but it loaded Treasure Island Dizzy and a couple of other games just fine from their original disks.
I'd like to give it to someone in the Fife or Edinburgh areas. I live in Fife and work in Edinburgh. I am not looking to sell, only pass it on. I could make Perth or Dundee at a stretch.
