For buyers outside EU: the shipping was around 60 EUR insured , so it wasn't a good option - it would be more ideal to pay a little more on the other-bay from a buyer in the US.

I hear you, however the 500 Plus as you know was never sold in the U.S. So by the time it's all said and done the auction prices are making this viable believe it or not. This is the price we pay in the western world while China ships and "e-packet" for MUCH lower rates. Everybody wants global trade but it costs Europe and the U.S. more to do it!

I wasn't aware that the a500 plus wasn't released in US - interesting. Also totally agree on the shipping, its a complete mess for me to ship outside EU - both price and document wise, its a lengthy process..
