Amiga 500+ Rev8
Prioritising my collection and have decided to let my A500+ go.
Amiga 500+ Rev8 in full working order and clean cosmetic condition with slight yellowing on the keys, the case looks to be the original color.
Complete with the box (missing styrofoam), power supply, tank mouse, Marpet MP500B 1MB ram expansion, Manual, Workbench, Fonts, Extras 2.04 disks (all working), and the full RF shield is present.
Note, there's no video or audio cables included in the sale.
Bad points to note.
*The motherboard sufferd battery damage. The varta spewed it's guts in the usual fashion and this was removed, guts neutralised, board cleaned, then repaired with 7 patch wires. See pictures for reference.
The Amiga has been tested for a full 24+ hours running various games and the machine is 100% stable, there were no crashes or any other issues.
*Capslock led not working, the key works, so it may just need a replacment led.
*The case has a small cut out on the left front corner, no idea why, this was cut when I received the Amiga, see pictures.
*Left button on the mouse is sometimes a bit temperamental, may need a clean or the button/switch replaced.
*Some of the contacts on the left expansion port have bits of copper missing, see pictures.
*The original left expansion port cover is missing, but I have included a 3d print replacement that features sdcard and usb ports suitable for use with pistorm, if required.
Price £170 - Cash or PayPal friends & family or pay the fees.
Postage £15 - UK Mainland (Parcel Force Express24, fully insured).
Collection welcome.
Willing to ship overseas, ask for a shipping quote if interested.
Note!
*Price is final - no negotiations in PM unless otherwise stated.
*Declaration is to be followed by PM.
*If contact has not been made within 24 hours i will move on to the next in-line without any further contact.
Also advertised elswhere.
Edit: Sold outside of Amibay.
The buyer says he's going to fix the upper lines that were destroyed by the Varta. I'm not sure how he's going to do that, but that's above my expertise.
I am glad the Amiga sold to someone who will love and care for the old gal
