Hi,

I have an A600 motherboard going for free, believed to be faulty hence why it`s free! Postage within the UK is £4, please do not ask me for overseas postage on this as it`s just not worth it. I`ll submit a pic and more detailed info tonight if you wish.

Cheers,

Do you know if the Paula chip on it is alright?
i.e. good sound, floppy access working, and right-mouse-button clicks registering properly

Also, is the IDE header on it good? (all pins present/straight)

What are its faults (if known)?

If so, interested in it for parts.

@tokyoracer:
IDE header could be used on your 1200 board I'm fixing, if it's good.

Hi,

Pass on the actual fault, not tried in a while and i`d rather just give it away in hope that it`s usefull to you guys. Pins i believe are fine but i`ll check and submit pictures when i return home tonight.

Cheers,

Top man.

I'm talking to tokyoracer in IM and the board will be of use to us both as I am doing some work for him.

I could be passing through Swindon this week to visit my sick colleague in Great Western, so it might be handy for a pickup to save you posting it :)

We've met before, you kindly gave me the Commodores (one of which is working great to this day! :D)

Thankyou, pictures are great.

It'll probably be an evening - would you be in 7-8ish on Thursday or Friday by any chance?

Failing that, what'd be most ideal for you, mate? :)
Last time I visited you at home one evening, I've not been to your work.

What beer do you fancy? :)

Cheers!

Brahma?????????????????????

Best beer from Brazil is called Bohemia, period. But I think it is very hard to find outside my country.

In fact I just "killed" 4 600ml bottles myself.:pint::beer:

May I please clarify, VB in Australia is Victoria Bitter beer. It's worse than cat piss. What is VB in your part of the world?

I know VB, it is tasty. I prefer some Belgian beer (12% anyone?), but good beer is a bless.

Update: 4x 600ml Bohemia, 2x 1litre Polar. Hic!

Yo Brataccas,

Would you be alright with me swinging by tomorrow (Friday) night with a few VBs for you? :) Sometime between 7-8?

Also I take it you haven't moved house since last year? I still have your address in an old PM mate.

Cheers :)

How about 'Delirium Tremens' (the beer, not my current state of mind)?

@ Rkauer - Well if you could send me some, i might change my mind ;)

@ Matt020 - Yup same small dumpy bottles of VB here, i like it. It`s not to everyone`s taste and the last time i was in Sydney it tasted pretty good.

I normally drink Ales, the darker the better but lately i have got into VB again.

@ Dopefish - Yeah course mate, i`m at the same place with the same 8/16 bit kit :) Boards sat here ready anyhow.

Cheers,

Delirium Tremens is a good beer indeed, I would not pass one ;) But yet, this is something we are good in, we have many beers - and a lot over 8 % I like Duvel best, but I like all strong beers. Exept the lighter ones I tend to pass. The production proces is not that good, you get headeaches from them if you drink a few.. My recommondation do not drink light beer.

Board collected, had a great chat about all things Miggy/8bit related, given some extra freebies and received a nice 6 pack of VB. Awesome :)

Cheers again Dopefish :)
