I've since been told (as can be seen in the thread, that this is a Marpet M1207). I've updated the title. Old title listed above for reference. This does provide a notable boost in Sysinfo, however, personally I couldn't call it an accelerator card, at least not in terms of the likes of 030 and 060 boards etc. However, the extra fast ram, FPU (when added) etc, all result in the side effect of a small speed boost. Obviously, for anyone doing things like 3D or certain programming calculations, the FPU option is brilliant. Also some demos require FPU or play better with it.

For sale from my personal spares pile. A board I removed from an A1200 a couple of years ago. Unsure on exact brand, but I've been told it's likely to either be an Amitek HAWK or MTEC 1200 model.
It provides 8MB Fast RAM. An Optional FPU (not included) and an RTC (Real Time Clock). Please assume the clock battery will need replacing (you can simply get the battery code, from the back of the battery and order one online for a few pence).
