EDIT: Noticed a mistake in the description. There is only 16Mb on board, not 32Mb!
Hi,
With much reflection, I have also decided to list my old Amiga A4000D computer.
Included:
Amiga 4000D + Keyboard + 16Mb Onboard RAM
Currently using the original MC68030 CPU card (See notes below about Cyberstorm MK3)
High Density 1.76Mb Floppy Drive
HXC SD Floppy Drive Emulator (similar to a Gotek)
Coin cell battery replacement and recap done quite a number of years ago
ROMY 4K, enabling custom 1Mb+ Kickstart ROMs to be used
MNT ZZ9000 Graphics card (with 3.3v power fix applied to board)
XSurf 100 + RapidRoad USB and Network card
Cyberstorm MK3 MC68060 Accelerator Card + 128Mb RAM.
Note: This card is currently suffering from a common fault with these cards, and the CPU socket needs to be resoldered. It got a little temperamental at first, and would need the occasional slight pressure applied to the CPU to get the computer to boot, but this no longer works, and I do not have the soldering skills to even attempt to rectify the problem.
Corsair SF600 Modular power supply with a custom made modular power cables for the A4000 motherboard and power switch in combination with a custom 3D printed PSU bracket, enabling the original power rod to be used.
SCSI Devices - will need either a SCSI card or fix the Cyberstorm to use
SCSI CDRom Drive
SCSI CF Reader (externally accessible/replaceable without needing to open the computer)
IDE CF Reader (due to situation with Cyberstorm card)
There's a lot inside the Amiga, and I'm including the Cyberstorm in the hope that whoever buys the computer will have the skills to repair the socket, or know someone who can.
This Amiga (and my GoldenGate 486 card) got me through university in the 90's, and has undergone drastic changes over the years, but I don't have the time to sort out the issue with the Cyberstorm card, and I'd rather it went to someone who can, and will then continue enjoying using it as much as I have.
£2000 GBP + postage by PayPal F&F. If in UK and local, I am open to in-person collection and/or delivery (depending on distance from Newcastle upon Tyne).
