Found Amiga A500 or A1200 mouse or shell, preferably not working

I've recently finished building a AmigaPI computer and I'd like to finish the look off by converting an original Amiga mouse to USB. I'm not planning on doing anything ground breaking, just a brain swap with a bog standard optical PC mouse. Thing is I dont want to sacrifice a perfectly working Amiga mouse for the sake of this hack. So I'm hoping there might be someone out there who can help, perhaps someone has a mouse with a naff micro switch. I'll feel a lot better doing this hack on a bust mouse, then breaking up one that works perfectly fine.
