Amiga Dark Video output - Likely Cause?

Hi!

I have an A1200 here, everything is working, even the sound is nice and clear but the Video output is very dark.

I've tried RGB/Composite and RF, they all display the same Dark image, i.e Workbench is dark grey, almost black and the Purple Kickstart screen is also pretty much black.

Other than replacing the Caps, is there a more likely cause?

I didn't really want to open it as then whole thing is in mint condition and the warranty seal is still in place. It's an original C= unit.

BTW I tested on 3 different TV's and with another known good PSU

Corroded print due to Cap leakage, defective BT101 maybe? We can take a lot at it for you if you want.

could be anything before the encoder(cxa1145m) including the encoder itself,hard to say really.

better to get someone to look at it.
