Hello all,

I am selling a Super RARE Expansion Card 486SX for Amiga (AST Research Inc. - Slot: ISA - procesor: Intel i486), factory upgraded to 486DX2/100MHz with 16MB RAM (8x30 pins) which supports internal IDE/ floppy controller / VGA Card / both COM1&2 / parallel port, so no other card is necessary to be installed to operate it as a 2nd computer inside your Amiga

This card is a complete PC inside the Amiga and it has it’s own BIOS

The CPU has a fan installed which is operating quietly
The expansion card actually takes two slots from the Amiga

You only need to install an IDE Hard Disk and a floppy 3.5" 1.44 if needed

I had installed a 2GB Hard Disk with DOS/Windows95 and Windows98 Second Edition (to a second partition) and the computer was too fast!!!
I also played DOOM and TAXI games which were super fast too!!

The card was installed in my A2000 and served me many times, in many projects such as 8bit Computer World: C-64: to load disk images via X1541 cable, Atari 800 XL: to load .ATR with APE, Amiga: transfer disk images from PC to Amiga and many others…

In one of my projects, I had installed a 3COM ISA Card and I was surfing to internet with Internet Explorer 5 (update to IE4 on Windows 98), running Word & Excel 2000 at the same time. I was also running ShapeShifter on Amiga side (MacOS8.1) and there were 3 computers running at the same time ;-)

I have uploaded some pictures from my mobile to the following link: http://img834.imageshack.us/g/09082010001.jpg/

the card only, without the expansions: http://img40.imageshack.us/img40/7281/486card.jpg

(please forgive my mobile phone)

- I am asking 140 Euros for the card, plus shipping (my location is: Athens / Greece)
- PayPal is ok, no additional charges
- I can ship anywhere in the world and I can provide installation instructions, although this is not too difficult as the card is plug and play

- Please PM me only if you are 100% confident that you will buy the card
- The card has been packed and it is ready to be shipped to a new home

Thanks for looking

Hello all,

I am selling a Super RARE Zorro Expansion Card 486SX for Amiga,
@sylvester,
Is it really Zorro board?
On the pictures I can see industrial PC "all in one" type where you have to connect separate keyboard, mouse, HDD, floppy, monitor because such card is not using any of Amiga resources. In fact Amiga is delivering +5V and +12V only; nothing more.
Can you clarify this please?

I cannot see a Zorro II connection anywhere either.

If this is NOT a Zorro Expansion card then please update your description.

Not without starting a sales thread & interested parties posting interest within said thread first ;)

Anyway I will close the thread for you as it has served it's purpose.
