Hello my friends. As some of you may know, im re-starting my " Black 1200 Amiga Project".

So, basically, im after any Amiga keyboard KEYS you may have form a non working keyboard or similar.

It doesnt matter how yellowed the KEYS are...because they will be painted in black...si if you happen to have a complete set of keys in any condition and are willing to sell them to me..please let me know (y)

Kind Regards
Sebastian

Hi there! first , thanks a lot for your offering!!!

Now, to answer your questions:
1) about 5 minutes
2) if you do it with a little care, there´s no risk in breaking them. Just put a little force from below of the key with some plain screwdriver. The keys should pop up easily, maybe you want to try first on an old Pc keyboard? Mechanism is the same...basically they are the same kind..so just use something to push them up using no much force...

Let me know if you can do it, and if you manage to remove all of them alive with no collateral damage and how much $$$$ are you asking, including shipping to Buenos Aires, Argentina (y)

Thanks!
Sebastian

The Amiga keys are so easy to pull up that you can do it with your fingers.

just pull them, using your fingertips as leverage, then you don't make small tool marks on the keys either.

WARNING: you might feel like going out into the sun and drink a cold beer after all the hard work.
This might cause dizzyness and liverdamage

My spare keyboard is working just fine too but I'm prepared to pull the keys off and post them to a fellow amibay'er.

Are you? :dry:

@gavilan

PM me your address my friend, I'll get the keys pulled off, packaged up and let you know the postage.
