Amiga Kit Big Thank You

Hi Guys just wanted to say thanks to Amiga Kit.

I know of late a lot of negative things have been said about these guys, well I have used them for a very Long time over the years and had nothing but great experiences. I asked about jen's new ACEb mega chip and they said ahh we don't have those (Jens has had problems Understanding the new Import rules, shame, as I got a CD from Germany this week, took 5 days no problems) but hey we have a mega chip sitting here you could Purchase and after a great Phone call today I have done just That. Guys I want to say give these guys your support BUT DO REMEMBER this is a very very small company trying to keep up with demand.. And do remember that just like the Vampire project or the ZZ9000 one they are NOT AMAZON or the OTHER bay next day delivery is nice but not going to happen.

NOW LET the burning begin!!!!! Well I hope not as a UK resident AmigaKit are going to be a Whole lot more important to us as Amiga Users.

I always had first class service from Amigakit personally but I seen all the posts so clearly issues there. the only thing that dragged on was this AAA pack and only just got that in January, waiting now for news on the A1222 but with Covid delays I expect that to take another year!

Amigakit is banned yes, for lack of communications ONLY no other reason.

They also have a staff member ( his own account ) who comes here, so yes they probably have seen it.

Amigakit as far as i'm concerned having someone in the UK that is passionate about the Amiga is a godsend to the Amiga community,

It's just a shame it came to this, we did try to avoid it giving them over 1 month to respond ( the rules say 24 hours ), so we was VERY patient.

Each to their own, in my experience it has always been slow service and money grabbing, but that has just been my experience of them.

Ok to clear up been trying to get an idi ace2b but because of Jens problem with UK tax system thought I'd try Amikit. Emailed got answer same day they said no to Jens product as he is not doing anything UK wise. Then the guy said well we do have an old do mega chip plus. Paid for it got it next day. So in full take a bow Amikit sorry to all those I know have a problem with them but I am very happy.

Im sorry to hear that but as I have said they have always and I do mean always delivered to me on time and I have had no problems. I understand others have and well that is a case by case for Amigakit to sort they are an old Amiga company with Two guys working there so I hope they can and will get it all sorted for you. I did by the way order 3 68k sockets and they again like my FatAgnus upgrade arrive the next day. I wish I could help you with the mega mix problem!

Never had a problem with them, the items can take some time to arrive, but it is the same for most other items traveling from Europe to Oz.
