Well so I searched for a while and i found some guy who made a C64 laptop (actually pointless since there is already the SX-64, hehe!). But i simply couldn't find any reference to an Amiga Laptop...

Hasn't anyone ever made one? Especially since there is the MIST project it would be fairly easy to use that, the board is so small and powered by 5V USB. So basically i think if I had a MIST and an old laptop i would just throw out the laptop internals, hook up a cheap VGA <->LVDS adaptor to the internal screen, depending on the battery voltage install a buck-boost board (I have one pre-configured for 5V USB, size of a match box) and the rest would be just some custom cables for USB, maybe use a dremel to create holes for the joystick ports and basically that's it? Or am I thinking too simple? yeah okay depending on laptop model the keyboard might be difficult to convert to USB because of unknown cable layout, but that's already the worst part i can think of.

Would love to have some original Amiga board installed, but A500 is too big and maybe even A600 might be a challenge. Also they are more power hungry than the mist...

Any thoughts?

Dude, that is soooo awesome! But i fear I am something around 20 years late to order a kit, eh? Were these ever seen in the wild? Never heard about it before. Very cool though.
