Lately I've been getting into listening and making Amiga music.
So I thought I'd try to get myself a sampler so I can get things going when my my Amiga arrives this week.
Little bit about myself, I am an 18 and have been making chipmusic for about a year and a half. I have been interested in it since about 2008, not until 2011 i started trying to make it. Late last year i decided to go with the Gameboy to make music and that is what I've been using for a while now. I'm pretty comfortable with trackers by now, so I think I'll do just fine when it arrives. I plan to use Octa-MED 4 and Protracker as those are the best I've heard.
I'm really new to the Amiga OS and I'm sure that I'll get the hang of it soon.
I'll be running an A1200 PAL with an NTSC power supply.
It also has a 4GB Microdrive in it.
I plan to get some sort of small lcd to mount on the machine, I'm gonna make sure it is auto switching so i can actually use it.
Anyway,if there is any info you fellas can give me on writing chipmusic on Amiga that would be wonderful.

Cheers, DESUMATE

Welcome to AmiBay. Protracker is still the best for me.
