Will be keeping an eye out on the usual suspects on YouTube such as Chris Edwards to see what these changes are about and if anything else stops working before I start dismantling my Amigas to update the ROMs 🤔🙄

I've found it's a little heavy on Chip RAM usage in WinUAE. From 1.82mb using a fresh install of OS3.2, down to 1.64Mb once the update is installed.

Also, Copper-Demon (a commodity) ceases to function once OS3.2.3 is installed in WinUAE 5. The end results are grey windows and background. Removing Copper-Demon and then resetting to a plain colour in Prefs was the only way I could fix this. Anyone who has "ClassicWB for 3.2" installed should be made aware of this problem.

The background should look something like this once OS3.2.2.1and ClassicWB for 3.2 are installed ...

My previous and fully working setup (OS3.2.2) ends up looking like this after the OS3.2.3 update is installed ... Yes, I did back things up before installing the update :)

Buggy software? Perhaps the update broke something in Copper-Demon? ... Too early to know for sure - more investigation is required.

This sounds like I may want to wait for 3.2.3.1.

So far so good, thanks to all involved for this update.

The world is going to run out of Eproms with all the updates ;-)

Indeed 🤔😬🤣

There are alternatives. KickROM into RAM if you have an Accelerator that supports it. Or get one of those reprogrammable on the fly ROMs you can buy now, that allows you to program the ROM(s) from the Amiga 😉

@gewse2k

Yes, having individual release notes on a program-by-program basis across several folders does seem a bit weird. An AmigaGuide file would have been easier for the end user to comprehend and digest.

Yeah the change summary doesn’t mention HDToolbox updates, so I am sure there are plenty others I don't know about

i defiantly read it somewhere, but I have not yet installed it as having major issue "fixing" the SCART cable to work on my new checkmate monitor. Thanks for clarifying.

@Bladejack

You're not going mad, you definitely did read it somewhere. It's clearly stated over on Hyperion's website.

It could be interpreted that it's been updated for this release, or that it will update to version 47 ... who knows 🤷‍♂️

Isn't the English language wonderful? lol
