Hi everyone. I'd like to get my Amiga 500 and 1200 up and running and need a new psu to do so. There seem to be a fair few available around the net, but I'd liked to get a few opinions from the knowledgable people here. I've found 3 different ones so far which seem to be fairly reputable,
https://amigastore.eu/en/683-a-power-hq-power-supply-for-amiga-5005006001200.html
https://www.c64psu.com/c64psu/56-1408-commodore-amiga-a500-a500-a600-a1200-psu.html

Could anyone give me their opinions on those I've listed? For instance, c64psu is substantially cheaper, is there a reason for this? I've I've missed any other options please let me know too.

Any advice much appreciated.

Can't advise you on any of the above but I can provide another alternative for you to consider:
https://icomp.de/shop-icomp/en/shop/product/ca-psu.html

One of the benefits of this one is that it regulates the output voltage at the plug instead of inside the PSU which means that the voltage drop in the cable is eliminated.

I personally have had no problems with the offering from c64psu.com. It's handled everything I've thrown at it in the past including a Vampire v2 1200 and Blizzard Mk IV & SCSI card without a hitch. I also purchased their C64 & 1541 combo PSU as well and it's still in use today.

Am just an average user but IMHO the PSU's they offer are good quality for the price.

@Rouge , Meanwell power supplies are worth consideration, they're a great replacement for an A500/1200 , and will fit inside an Amiga 500 power supply enclosure, you can even reuse the wiring from the old power supply too. :)

Only thing with these power supplies is it's more of a do-it-yourself project, so you'd have to wire it up yourself, simple enough job, but if you're not up for it, i guess you could get someone to do it for you, (if you know someone that is).

Meanwell RT50B
50w tripe outputs 5v 12v -12v (4amp)

Meanwell RT65B (better suited for A1200)
65w triple outputs 5v 12v -12v (5A, 2.8A, 500mA)

Just got back to this. Apologies for not checking the thread earlier. Thanks for the replies everyone.

@Watson I've been looking into Meanwell psus. I made a C64 psu last year so I might be up for this. Are there any good tutorials I can follow? The only one I can find is Ian Stedman's which is a bit sparse for a relative newcomer like me.
