I trying to used PC USB stick to get Amiga Software of ADF to transfer on Amiga Vampire 4 but Amiga Vampire doesnt know my USB Stick..........so what do I need to transfer the files to Amiga Vampire 4?
Remove the internal memory card, plug it into your pc.
Transfer the files then put the memory card back into the vampire.
Not the best way of doing things I'm afraid.
<edit>
There is a micro SD card slot on the rear of the V4SA (not sure if you have that) but it is only used to store the kick.rom file and doesn't appear in Workbench IIRC
Haven't had a vampire for years now so the above is strictly from memory. It might be worthwhile seeing if there are any improvements / core updates over at link
I have an Icedrake but the Vampire v4 seems similar. It has a microSD slot for file transfer. If you are running Apollo OS then the drivers for it are already installed, otherwise you will need to install drivers. If you have a Rapid Road USB device or similar a USB stack needs to be added to the WB.
Well I suppose you could use a crossover cable, but I meant connect your vampire to your network and then you can do things like FTP or network shares. In fact Apollo has a network utility to transfer to and from the vampire. Run the server in the PC and run the client on the Vampire.
