For sale I have an original XCopy with the Cyclone dongle, instructions and box.

The box has suffered some damage, but the disk and dongle is fine.

As this is quite rare now, I'm asking €100 but will consider all offers.

A program to rip DRM from other commercial software which requires its own DRM dongle. Oh the irony of it.

Whilst I see the irony of it, the Cyclone device was used to copy custom-formatted tracks otherwise unreadable using standard hardware. It can only "clone" from original disks to produce copies, not copy from a copy to another, nor remove copy protection.

The original Cyclone device was a simple PCB with crossed signals (see Aminet) implemented without using intermediary circuitry to effectively sync the internal floppy with an external drive. Whilst connected, it did render the external drive unusable outside of the Cyclone software.

The later revision of Cyclone Auto-Detect adapters used a GAL to engage when the copying software ran.

Anyway --

We can chat about XCopy/Cyclone/DRM outside of this thread as this is a sale thread.

For now, the sale is closed. The item on it's way to Ntsimouris.
