Hi!

Since I've lost interest in NG Amiga's I'm letting my AmigaOne XE back into the wild.

This A1 XE has the G3 750FX Processor which is overclocked to 933mhz with Zalman cooler applied. It's housed in a small ATX case, the ATX PSU is only a couple of months old and I will include the following:

  • OS4.1 (Genuine and boxed) + OS4 Developer CD and lots of paperwork, documentation.
  • You will get the Key and I will un-reg at Hyperion so you can register in your own name.
  • There is a Radeon 9250 AGP installed for the best Graphical Experience
  • 512mb Ram Installed
  • There is a combined USB/IDE card installed. Note that on-board IDE/USB does not have the bug fixes hence using the PCI cards (this is normal for A1XE boards which had some bugs!)
  • There is a DVDRW and USB Card reader installed, you will need an adapter for the USB card reader though to connect it (USB 9pin *Motherboard header* to USB Type A)
  • There is an IDE HDD installed, I will leave OS41 installed for the next user.
  • AmigaOne Keyboard and Mouse (Official Boing Ball Style from Amigakit)

There you have it a complete setup for you! Asking price is £525 + P&P (Was originally £600 ONO) I'd prefer this to be collected as it's quite delicate to ship. However I have lots of packing materials here it's possible, but due to size could be very expensive! It would have to go fully insured.

I would also sell this as Motherboard, Ram, Cards & OS, (without the Case, drives, Keyboard & Mouse and I'd discount the price by £50)

I will also consider part ex deals, I'm currently looking for the following items for my collection:

PC Engine GT
Sega NoMad
ACA12xx Card

Finally some pics: (note these are from my project thread)

I will keep the OS installed for the end user, but will remove my personal files.

Some ScummVM fun:

Some Quake II Fun!

This offers an extremely fast OS4.1 experience at the fraction of the price of an X1000 or Sam460 but bare in mind it's 15+ years old.

I had it running all weekend at Revival and whilst mostly it was rock solid there were some issues getting it to boot the first time which involved re-seating cards, and again I had this when I got it home but also needed a good clean with IPA, just some points for you to bare in mind when buying an item like this (they're not always 100% maintenance free!)

Thanks for looking, I'll be sad to see her go but my interests have moved away from PPC Amiga's.

You posting on your phone? You've posted in the software section again :D

Yes it's the same system and now comes now as a full package with OS4, OS4.1 (genuine boxed), Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse which are official Keyboard and Mouse from Amigakit as you see here:

http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=973

PSU is also brand new (near enough) plus ATX extension adapter for correct positioning in case, plus DVDRW, Card Reader included.

I'm also trying to find a spare HDD so I can get OS4.1 setup and installed for the buyer :)

I've lost interest in NG now so I'm letting this, the last PPC Amiga I have back into the wild.

Price reduced to £550

PM sent to dhey59 to give an opportunity at the lower price (shipping killed it before)

Putting this sale on hold for now, I'm having second thoughts more for the concern of transporting this item.

Please lock the thread for now.

Putting this back of for sale, price now £525 + P&P. Remember this is a full setup inc Boing Ball Keyboard & Mouse, Genuine OS4.1, etc.

I'll do a fresh Video of this up and running tomorrow for piece of mind since I've not used for a while.

Also available without the Case, Drives, Keyboard & Mouse. I'd discount the price by £50 for these parts.

Declare interest, some questions.

Thanks for your interest, I'll be doing the Video shortly and look forward to your questions. If they are about the item feel free to post them in the thread as the answers might help others.

I've been using this for about an hour this morning, I made some Video's but was not happy with the production since I was going to use them for my Youtube, now the bloody thing is locking up on me. I think I'm destined not to sell this, I can't pass on a potential problem that would not be fair. I think maybe the board would benefit from re-capping or perhaps the overclock needs to be reduced to 800mhz which I think was how they came from the factory.

I don't really want to give this away cheap as spares since I've invested quite a bit of time and money in it and still have a fondness, I'll probably look into getting the board serviced.

Thanks all for looking and sorry for messing around opening and closing this thread.

ps. if anyone knows how to service these boards, please get in touch :)

Make sure the CPU is bolted down properly. I bought one and the CPU board was missing a screw AND the CPU fan was held on by twisty ties. Sigh.

Thanks guys, I'm actually starting to think there is an issue with the IDE card or the HDD, last HDD corrupted it's self and I think the crashes are due to corrupt files as if I re-install the program it don't crash no more!

Don't you just love Amiga's...
