Selling an FM/AM radio receiver module for all Amiga models except the Amiga 1000

Plugs into the parallel port, it draws very little power so it doesn't require an external power supply

Has 2 sets of connectors to use an external FM and/or AM antenna, but an antenna is not actually required to listen to FM radio stations as the module can use the headphones/speakers wire as the antenna when the "antenna selector" jumper is on the "cable" position

All modules are hand assembled and tested by me, software will be provided via private message or email

Price is 50€ + shipping - Payment: PayPal (you pay the fee or friends/family) or bank transfer

Sold: 5
Available: 2 (White Edition, see pictures below)

First time selling on here so I provided proof of ownership (first picture), not sure if it's allowed to provide a direct link but I've sold a few on ebay if you want to look up my username and see my recent feedbacks

Declaring interest.
Does it play sound through Paula or does one have to connect an external speaker?

Audio output is through the 3.5mm jack at the back of the module, the audio cable also doubles as an FM antenna so in most cases you can pick up radio stations without connecting any external antenna to the blue connector

send a PM with paypal account so i can send you the money.
shipping to Greece
Payment received, I'll send you the tracking number via PM in a couple days

Last one is reserved to Hannibal if he's still interested, shipping to the US will probably be a bit expensive though

No problem, thanks for letting me know

Shipped 1 to Ntsimouris today, 1 still available

Received Amiga Radio this morning.
Simple and amazing device!
Sounds really good.
What i propose in a next software version is to add ability to save Presets for favorite radio stations, and the ability to directly type the exact frequency you want to tune in. Also, a "power off" option in software would be welcome.
Very good piece of hardware though!
Thanx!!!!!! (y) :check:

Glad you like it, I was already working on a small software update to allow saving presets, I'll add the ability to manually enter a frequency and a power off button as well.

Last module is still available

Shipped 1 to Akiko80

1 more module available, just assembled today, I've updated the first post

This will be the last one for a while since I'm now out of PCBs and components

My new Amiga Radio arrived safely and well packed, tested it on my CD32 ProModule today and it works great, the software has had a little upgrade bump since I purchased, as Ntsmouris mentioned you can now save presets and power the unit off. :)

I must say I am really impressed and something I can see myself using daily, while it's just a Radio it's so cool to have it readily available at the click of a mouse within Workbench. I hope to eventually get it connected up to a FM outlet and installed inside my big box Amiga.
A very cool little device, looking forward to future updates if any are planned.

Thank you for the feedback! In case I update the software again I'll make sure to send you the new version or you can just ask in case I forget :)

Waiting for your PM, if you tell me the country and ZIP code I can check the exact shipping cost

Quick question if anyone knows, since I may have more available in a few days is there a way to mark the thread as "SOLD" for now but leave it open temporarily? Or do I have to close this one and make a completely new thread?

When the other computers killed the parallel port ...
In Amiga they are still taking advantage of him with inventions like this!! :geek:

I am one of those who bought in July 2023 when it was sold on eBay by the friend pc13589... A very friendly guy willing to listen and meet some demands that undoubtedly attended to me...

I suggested at least to start the application at a certain frequency established in the tooltypes of the program icon, also the volume ... We spent funny days testing things.

Without too many pressures, I could settle for having at least 10 executables with the names of the radio stations within a folder. It was at least one way to establish my presets.

He gave me joy to see him for these forums. And how no could it be otherwise, attending the demands of the users. A great guy as I say.

My Amiga Radio version is the one with only FM. And I have tempted luck requesting the Lord pc13589 the software with the latest features. He has not doubted it and it is possible that even he had to compile for me a different version because I do not get the FM-AM options.

Presets, Power Off, and be able to write directly the exact frequency you want to tune in, I tell you that it works fantastically well!

I use a little mixer of very good fidelity (attached photo) to have sound in my amplifier from PC, Amiga 500 with A570 CDTV, and Amiga Radio FM. And so that there is no danger that something can fall on top, I protect it with a small plastic lid (attached photo).

Very grateful for your hard work and attend to my request.

Best regards
Fran
