You can use this board to play SID music with DeliPlayer or with the Frodo C64 Emulator, audio will be playing from a real SID chip instead of using emulation

It supports both the MOS 6581 and MOS 8580, as well as the modern SID clones/replacements like the Nano SwinSID, ARMSID, etc.

I really recommend watching these 2 videos from GadgetUK on YouTube:

Part 1 where he struggles to get the old version of the board to work:

Part 2 where he tries the new version of the board redesigned by Call286

^ This is the board I'm selling (v2)

Note that as far as I know the C64SID Plugin for DeliPlayer (required to use this card) and Frodo both require a 68020 or better, they don't work with a 68000

This card also works on an Amiga 500 or 500+ with a Zorro II adapter card, but only if you upgraded the CPU, not with the stock 68000 for the reason mentioned above

There's a 3.5mm jack for audio output + 2 screw terminals: one as an alternative audio output, for example if you want to feed the audio back to the Amiga motherboard to be mixed with the Amiga audio, and one for audio input into the SID chip

It comes with the jumpers configured for the EE address range, the SID chip is not included

Price: 55€ + shipping

What kind of hardware have you tested the card on? Do you get a lot of background noise on that system?

I tested them on my A500 with an upgraded CPU and a Zorro adapter, using DeliPlayer with the C64SID plugin, I personally can only hear a very faint background noise but I can't tell if it's from the SID itself or something that only happens with the card

Declaring interest.
Unless Xanxi changes his mind I don't have any more of these unfortunately

2 shipped to qz3fwd and 2 will go to Xanxi

I don't have any more of these so I'm marking the thread as sold

Oh nice, its derived from my work. Thats cool that it attracts interest.

I also planned to make a more advanced SID(and probably AY3 and OPL) Zorro card for Amiga in some time :))

Please, by all means, do this!

Package arrived today. Package is kinda crushed. Not sure cards are ok but will check tonight.
Hopefully they're still ok, I always wrap the items in a few layers of bubblewrap and put some extra padding inside the package because I know sometimes they throw them around quite roughly

Cards were OK inside. Not at all impressed with the packaging. A thin walled cardboard pasta box and a bunch of packaging tape. Thats why it got crushed.

Nice cards though. Now waiting on ARM2SID's from the Czech Republic

I know it looks weird but I actually regularly use pasta boxes for small modules and boards for this exact reason, in case the package gets thrown around I want the box to get damaged and not the items inside :)
The idea is that if the package gets dropped the box deforms a bit but it kinda absorbs the blow, I almost always pick a slightly larger box so the items inside are not directly in contact with the corners

Maybe I've been lucky but so far none of the items I've shipped were damaged

Anyway I'm glad you like the cards, thanks for the feedback!
