This is sysinfo on Amikit running on my Intel Quad Core E6600 with G0 Stepping, Geforce 8800GTS 360Mb, 2Gb 666MHz ddr2 ram and 160Gb Sata2 hard drive.

It gives some interesting reading.

LOL, and thats only using 1 core from your Quad CPU LOL awesome!!!

is that 10 times quicker (on 1 core) than an A4000? hang on checked again maybe not but still!

Mega speed

I have only just upgraded my PC to the following

Gamers PC Case with built in aero tubing to keep cpu and memory cooler
Gigabyte P35-S3 Motherboard with HD sound
Intel Quad Core Q6600 with G0 stepping @ 2.40GHz for each core
2Gb 666MHz DDR2 Ram
XFI Geforce 8800GTS 360Mb XT Overclocked Edition
LG GSA-4168B CD/DVD Burner
Pioneer 112D CD/DVD Burner
160 Gb Hitachi Sata2 drive
120 Gb Maxtor IDE drive linked onto a PCI IDE card
2 Multicolour 120cm fans (front and back)
1 Multicolour 80cm fan (front)

I rather go and build the PC myself as you know what your getting is what you want. Fair play to the system it`s very stable and the cpu only goes to 34c when i am playing games or rendering and that on the intel standard heat sink and fan.

As for games so far i have not found a game that even taxes it on Direct X 9 and i refuse to go to Vista because i cant see the point in it plus even on my machine it runs slow with anything graphical.

Here is some pics of my pic if your interested.

@ morcar

Are you compensating for something, possibly......???

Well my wife don’t complain we got 2 kids with in 20 months

Definitely compensating then. Two kids in 20 months leaves little time now for the wifey to look after your "needs". So what do you do? Build a bigger computer!

That case isn't really to my taste, but the system looks decent enough that's for sure.

haha thing is i take care of the kids in the morning she does in the afternoon and once they are gone to bed i am free to do what i want so i thought bugger it and i built a new comp once i had saved up some cash. Although at this very moment i seem to be using the amiga a lot more.

Right now i only have my A600 but i should with in 2 weeks have an A1200 which i am going to pimp out.
