The drive is in good cosmetics condition. Tested, works!

• run tack loader game
• disk copy (D-Copy 3.1)
• format hd disks and copy files to them
• read above disks with other drive
• Amiga Test kit 1.21 synthetic tests
  • read, write, head calibrations (supported DD only)

Does it need PC style FDD ribbon (with twist) or normal Amiga ribbon cable?
Does it work in A1200 ?

Yes, it's a HD floppy drive from Escom A4000T. Here you can find som test about this drive:

(I've tested it with A500 Plus, kick 3.1, Classic 520)

It work with all Amiga modell, but it mainly for desktop machines. Plastic-cased Amigas require modification for the eject button.
