I have bought my first Amiga in 1989. It was an Amiga 500. I used it only to play games. I sold it in the early nineties and I switched to an PC. Some years ago, I bought an Amiga 2000 and now, I’m discovering the different possibilities of the Amiga family (e. g. Birdgeboard, Video editing, …).
