Hey all, I'm in need of a little guidance once again from anyone who can offer it.
For our C# assignment this year, as some may know, I am to develop a simple side-scrolling platformer. We're not allowed to use the XNA developer tools so I'm uncertain what I should begin looking into first.
We have about 3 months to do this and I will need some fail time as a buffer first
So not very long at all.
Having studied Java last year, C# is still relatively new and I'm occasionally getting myself mixed up between the 2 languages still
Anyway, I'm just looking for a starting point, and perhaps a list of areas I will need to study to do this, etc. I have books but the language is huge (as are the books) and as much as I'd like to know all of the language, I'd rather work on what is needed to do a good job of the task at hand until the coursework is done given the time frame we have.
All guidance appreciated as always. I'm very glad that there are people here I can lean on for advice
