Anybody ordered anything from vesalia.de recently?

Hi all,

I recently ordered some stuff from Vesalia as AmigaKit didn't have the stock of the items I wanted.
It's been a long time since I bought from Vesalia, however, I placed my order & payed on 07/07/2014 and now it's 24/07/2014 and my order is still "Awaiting dispatch"

I've think I've left it long enough now, however, I've sent an email politely enquiring when my order will be dispatched.

My question here is, has anybody on here order anything from Vesalia recently? If so, what was your experience?, did it take a while to get your order dispatched?

I have ordered from them many times without the slightest problem. I have phoned as well and they were very helpful; why not phone them tomorrow morning?

I ordered one thing from them quite a long time ago. It took a while to arrive in the USA, but it did get here. Seems a bit excessive since they are so close to you.

Last ordered from them at the end of May, took about a day for them to send me an invoice to pay but the gear arrived a couple of days later - no longer than I'd expect form Europe any ways.

They are not very good at informing you if they are out of stock. I've waited more than 3 weeks for an order once and like you, it just said 'Awaiting dispatch' the whole time.
I couldn't cancel it either because they never replied to any of my several emails. Seems like the only way to get in touch with them is by phone and hope that the guy who talks English is at work.

In April I bought from them four or five items and they arrived at my place very quickly.
I paid on Monday and I received the parcel on Friday.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if they are hit with people going on vacation currently. It is a small family company, so it can be noticed if only a few people are away.

Just my 2c's worth. I have ordered from them occasionally and it has ALWAYS taken an age. That said it has always eventually arrived and has always been of good quality. I would buy from them again for sure but not if I needed an item quickly.

I bought a VarIO a few days ago and it arrived within 2 days.

Always quick Responses on my side...

I'd suggest sending them a small polite eMail for checking.

I also made the experience that it takes a while when they are out of stock.
And they are also quite reluctant when it comes to answer emails. ...Also in
native language ;-)

I thought I'd update you all.
I sent Vesalia an email - I had no response, but all of a sudden my order was updated to "Dispatched" so I thought I'd wait and see.
Low & behold, the stuff turned up within a week.

Seemed like I needed to "jog their memory" !!!
