I have at work here a pallet loaded up to about a metre in height with old educational software, most of it new in box but some missing manuals, boxes et cetera. There's loads of different stuff but a lot of it is sets of copies of the same thing, particularly something called Kid Works and Kid CAD. There might even be a copy or two of one of the Math Blaster games.
This is all DOS/Windows 3.1/Windows 95 stuff at the very latest. We don't really have much use for it and I have no idea whether any of it's worth anything and not much way to tell. Is anyone interested in any or all of it? It's basically going for packing and shipping cost plus a nominal charitable donation of your choice, first come first served as per forum rules but you choose how much you want to donate. This isn't a sale as such- my "asking price" is the shipping cost, which will vary depending on how much of the stuff you want, but I'd appreciate it if people could make a donation to Computers 4 Africa as well.
If there's any interest I can go through and write up a proper catalogue, but at the moment it's not really worth it (I'd prefer to just get rid of the lot in one go to be honest, it's taking up space in our Goods In area).
If you're interested but don't have anything compatible, I can probably put together most of a DOS/3.1/95 machine for you, but it will probably be quite expensive by AmiBay standards as I will have to find the parts and get it all sorted myself, and I will have to charge for my time.
I do also have a couple of other bits but I think they might actually be worth something, and until I can figure out what they are worth I'm kind of hesitant to post anything on here about them.
