Hi, I am looking for the SCSI Module for Apollo 1240/1260. I know the module is pretty crappy, but nonetheless I would like to try it.

To P5 SCSI ones, which are DMA.
And that they are crappy is not my opinion, just read on the internet.
I guess the scsi on apollo 4060 is similar, and it can only 3MB/s non-DMA :/
And well on the amiga hardware websites, they write that these are pretty picky also which devices work.

I own an Apollo 4040 and they only work with a HDD or SCSI2SD. But get around 5MB/ps though. I believe the A1200 modules do not possess DMA. The Phase 5/DCE for the 1230 onward cards can manage towards 8MB/ps. That’s what I have seen with them.

The apollo 4060 scsi also uses non-dma. But i read you can at least configure interrupt based communication, which should use less cpu, but as I understand Amiga 1200 internal ide also uses interupts and still cpu usage is like 99%.
Either way I still want to see how the scsi performs on a 1260.
How much mhz does your apoll 4060 hav

The 4040 is a 68040 clocked @ 40mhz
