For sale -per title- is an Apollo 1240@33mhz with 32mb RAM in fine condition as you can see in the photos. It was recently sent to stachu (many many thx man!) and he changed the accumulator with a brand new one plus he fitted the crystal in a more proper way. I was meant to keep this card for me, but high bills arrived yesterday and, sadly, it has to go :/
I've replaced the default 50mhz crystal with a 66mhz one thus the 33mhz speed. I even tried it for 4 hours running with a 80mhz crystal (40mhz cpu speed) and -although it felt warm- it had no problem at all. The crystal is socketed so it can easily be changed by the new owner, I'll include the original 50mhz crystal in the package. The card sports the newer MACH131 which, from what I understand, is important for a potential upgrade to 68060.
