Okay..... where to start. Firstly this card is NOT working, well, for me anyway, but I will get to that shortly.
The card itself is an Apollo 1260, though I believe it was originally an Apollo 1240. I have owned that card for about 15 years and sent it to Stachu around 10 years ago to have it upgraded to an 80mhz 68060 - in fact, it was through Amibay this upgrade was organized, and the original thread can probably be found by searching.
Anywho, the card came back complete with silent 40mm fan and worked perfectly - VERY fast. I used the card solidly for about 6 months before acquiring an X1000 which took the place of my A1200, and it went into storage.
Fast forward 10 years and I recently took the A1200 out of storage and fired it up - running perfectly with the Apollo 1260. I then transplanted the A1200 motherboard into a Checkmate case with a TF1230 and an Indivision AGA as I wanted the faster 060 card to go into another project that was awaiting an A1200net case.
However when the A1200net case arrived and I put the system together, all of a sudden the Apollo card does not seem to work. The A1200 itself seems fine (it is an ID4 rev - newly purchased recapped from AmigaKit) and it has had the timing fixes done to it, but I cannot get the Apollo card to work - I have tried cleaning the edge connector, the SIMM socket, tried different RAM SIMMs and I even replaced the jumpers (the green ones visible in the photos) in case they were not making good contact. I managed to get it to boot twice - once to a "software error" and once to an early boot menu... and then never again.
I am not sure what revision MB it was originally working with (the A1200 that is now in the Checkmate case) but I THINK it was a 2B. In any event, I had a TF1260 at hand, so I never took the troubleshooting any further and really have no desire to now. It may be something stupidly simple I have overlooked, or something more serious - I have no idea and so I price the unit accordingly. It would be best to go to someone with good technical knowledge of this type of hardware looking for a bargain.
Card has no visible damage or defects. Edge connector has no damaged or bent pins.
It has a 32MB SIMM with it - this is the original SIMM that works perfectly with this card.
The 68060 is a full unit with MMU and FPU and the mask etc can be clearly read from the provided photos.
Card used to always run reliably being powered up for hours on end running Quake etc with no crashes.
Card had a new rechargeable battery installed when it was first taken out of storage (a few months ago) and was working fine at this point (before it was removed from the original A1200)
Card has an 80mhz crystal in a socket (I have not tried any alternate crystals).
Price - $600.00AUD - Payment by PayPal family/friend. Will post worldwide but prefer a buyer that is confident they can get the card up and running.

Edit: Item sold elsewhere (listed on eBay at the same time this for sale post was opened).
