I have two items that work but give me some problems and I would like to have them fixed in order to fully enjoy them.
The first item is a 4xEIDE'99 Buffered Interface:
I bought it here from a seller that told me that it worked well except for the fact that the hdd led was always on. That is true, and it is more annoying that I thought but I also noticed that it doesn't work at all on my A600 (it works on my A1200). The pcb looks simple and I can't see anything wrong in it but, in any case, I wouldn't be able to fix it even if I knew what was the defective part...
The second item is an Apollo Elbox 1230 LC:
I bought this card as faulty but it actually works. It was missing the two jumpers and, probably, the previous owner didn't see the extra memory and thought that the card was broken. However, the card has some issues. It gave me a yellow screen 2 times. I cleaned the contacts and this issue disappeared but, sometimes, I am still having weird issues like "guru meditation" errors on boot or simply a black screen. I noticed that the small capacitor between the oki chip and the mach plcc is missing. The two points are simply connected together with a small wire. Another issue with this card is that the clock doesn't work. I put a new coin battery cr2032 on the card but sysinfo simply says "clock not found". The card was certainly previously "fixed" since on the back of it there are many soldered joints that differ from the original joints.
As I already said I would like to have both the items fixed in order to enjoy them and I am willing to pay for shipping costs and a reasonable amount for the work. If you are willing to do this for me, please contact me by PM specifying your request.
