For me it's just look like the price of the official website, nothing more nothing less.So no 2 time the vat. When a people buy it outside of eu, he has to pay import duty and vat for his own country. We just pay it upfront because we live in europe.

Does anyone know what are the differences between the Apollos V4 Standalone GIGA and the Apollo V4+ Standalone ? Is it just the GIGA has more RAM?
From their website that's all I can tell.

Also there were plans for Apollo make a 68080 accelerator for the 4000T. Is that back in the works?

Yes the Giga has more RAM.
It comes with 1024 MB DDR3 memory.

The A4000 version in currently on hold as the dev which was working on it, has some health issue. There is no timeline for it right now.
