*** PLEASE NOTE: All deals must be done before 12/May as I'm away after that for the whole summer. PLEASE NOTE ***

I have for sale an Archos Overdrive PCMCIA HDD (3.5") enclosure. This is brand new and complete with guide, power adapter, mounting screws and guide. Tested and working flawlessly.

Just did a quick testing in my A1200. So, according to Sysinfo:

Overdrive, Quantum 540MB 3.5" HDD: 1,932,265 Bytes/second

Internal IDE, Toshiba 8GB 2.5" HDD: 728,177 Bytes/second

So it looks like the transfer speed boost is quite significant :)

Asking + £10 postage to Europe + fees.

SOLD OUT

1 sold to Rakeim132
2 sold outside Amibay

Postage is un-tracked letter at buyer's risk (in case of damaged or lost item). Registered parcel at extra cost. Europe includes all countries shown on this map

Sorry. I take off my interest, because you are selling on Ebay is cheaper.

Ι am possible interested, after answering 2 questions:
-it has some kind of power supply input (220volt), or the HD takes power from A1200?
-can be a CDROM connected in this device? i mean if it has a cable that gives power to IDE devices?

Hey Marios, answers below

- The archos overdrive gets it's power from the external Floppy port (there is an adapter included) it's pass-through so a floppy can be still used.

- Possibly yes, as it has a standard 3.5" IDE data cable and standard power connector. However I'm not sure if the software supports this, perhaps IDEFix - not sure.

ΟK, thank you for the information.
I suppose that there are some other people before me in line, i will wait my turn :)

No communication from landoq so 2 of these are still available.
