Hi guys,

For sale is my ASUS Eee PC 701 - the first of the mainstream netbooks! :) I have owned the machine from new, and have looked after it very carefully, hence it is in the same condition as when I bought it.

Selling as it's no longer needed, sadly :(

Fully working, freshly restored to its factory Linux configuration so it behaves as it would out-of-the-box from new. Perfect condition with no scratches at all. The battery holds a good charge and performs as one would expect from this machine.

It has its original box and everything you would find in there from new, all manuals, leaflets, a CD, a neoprene slip cover, charger.

It comes with 1GB of RAM which I have upgraded it with, I believe this may be its maximum. Stock configuration was 512MB. In the past I have used Windows XP on this machine with my own license etc; it can be installed through use of an external CDROM, stick, SD card or hard disk - nlite recommended to get the most of the internal 4GB SSD. It boots very, very quickly with Windows XP due to the fast SSD. SD cards and external drives can be used to add space to the machine. To clarify, as mentioned above this netbook is preinstalled with Linux. You must supply your own licenses and installation media if you wish to use Windows XP or other OSes.

This is the Surf model, which has an integrated webcam for use with Skype, etc. :)

Awesome little computer, it's tiny! Love it to bits, but it's sat unused for too long for me to warrant holding onto it (due to being spoilt with bigger laptops), so it's time to pass it on.

Further pictures on request.
Asking price: £80 GBP delivered in the UK - other countries, please ask if interested. :)
